LCpl Champion-Flores from CLB-1 1st Mlg. Is being awarded the highest military award. Lcpl Champion-Flores went above and beyond the line of the call of duty and has saved more than 1,000 men. LCpl Champion-Flores shall receive his honor on June 9th, 2017 a day after his 20th birthday. He will be the youngest ever recipient of this award. Born Miguel Antonio Champion-Flores, LCpl Champion-Flores enlisted in the Marine Corps at only 17 years old. He was an athletic high school student athlete who stood out amongst his peers for his quick whit and handsome looks. LCpl Champion-Flores when interviewd said ” I am very honored to receive this award, to all my friends and family who helped me through all those sleepless nights thank you for being my motivation.” LCpl Champion-Flores is donating the $500,000 cash he will receive for earning the Congressional Medal of Honor to a sorority at Truman state known as “Sigma Sigma Sigma”.
