Over dose

14-year-old Cameron Robichaud was rushed to the Dalhousie hospital, located in Northern New Brunswick, last night, April 17th, around 11 o’clock after a near-fatal overdose on propoxyphene (darvon), police said. A pain-reliever that when misused can lead a person into a coma, and when taken in super high dosages can even cause death. Witnesses say Cameron has been getting bullied a lot lately and talking about how she wants to take her own life. Cameron was reportedly laying on her bed, after taking the entire bottle, almost dead when her mother found her gasping for air. She was rushed to the hospital and has since been discharged. The police do not want to release any further information . Her parents want other families to be aware of the dangers of prescription medication and how you should pay attention to your kids behaviours. If they’re acting strange or tell you about suicidal/depressed thoughts, they recommend you bring them to get help, and hide anything potentially dangerous around the house. More information will be added to this story throughout the week.
