Pair of German Shepherds escape Training School-Trek almost 100 miles home

A pair of German Shepherds, Dietz and Sheeba, were dropped off for an intense two week board and train, 10 days ago. On Saturday night, the trainer was preparing to feed them when he noticed they were gone. Also missing were their beds and bag of toys. Finding his back door wide open, he was sure the pair had been stolen. He notified the Fayetteville police department and made the proper report. Hoping to find the animals quickly, he put off notifying the owners. When Sunday afternoon came with no word on the whereabouts of the pair, he decided to call the owners. That’s when things get Bizarre! His phone rang, it was Tammy Tanksley, Sheeba’s owner, on the line. She stated she just had the shock of her life! Upon answering a knock at her door, there stood Dietz and Sheeba with their beds and bag of toys! They were wet, dirty, and looked exhausted. She called Jonni Sims, owner of Dietz, right away, but neither could explain how they got there. I guess the only explanation is they grew tired of the 12 hour work days and decided to break out and come home!
