Michael Golpe, 50, was released by Port Chester police early this morning in what has been called a horrific fight that three men dead and eight injured.
Mr. Golpe, who was unarmed, was accosted by the group who can be heard saying that “some blanco gonna pay”, while sitting on his front porch sipping scotch. The entire event, now a viral video, was recorded by a neighborhood security camera.
In a statement released to the media, Mr. Golpe will not be charged since he followed all legal requirements for self defense and never left his domicile. A source stated, “he’s smart, smarter than me, he’s got a great lawyer, and kept his mouth shut.”
Mr. Golpe had no comment after his release.
