SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah – A Salt Lake police officer working with the personnel from the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office and the DEA located more than 51 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Saturday.
According to a press release from the Salt Lake City Police Department, police stopped a Red Honda Accord for traffic violations near Valley Adair Mall at about 1:19 a.m.
An SCSO K9 was able to uncover more than 51 pounds of marijuana as well as other drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle, 22 Semaje A. Tillman of West Valley City, was arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on several felony counts related to the possession and distribution of drugs.
