Police arrest man traveling with more than 50 pounds of pot

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah – A West Valley City police officer working with the personnel from the Salt lake Police Department Office obtained more than 51 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Saturday Night.

According to a press release from the Salt Lake City Police Department, police stopped a Maroon Honda Accord for traffic violations near Valley Fair Mall at about 1:25 a.m.

An SCSO K9 was able to uncover more than 51 pounds of marijuana.

The driver of the vehicle, 22 year-old Semaje A. Tillman of West Valley City, was arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on several felony counts related to the possession and distribution of drugs.
