A Rimersburg man was put in Clarion County Jail after police said he tried to escape from them In his 2005 Ford Escape
The Police stopped and pulled over 19-year-old Timothy Singer , who was in a orange Ford Escape Sunday Afternoon. The Police said that the Vehicle was driving down town Rimersburg when they noticed that the vehicle had not been inspected. The officer turned on his sirens and got up behind Mr. Singer and he pulled over, but the officer said as he was approaching the vehicle he started it and took off. From there they were in a high speed chase until the driver lost control of his car going around a turn and hit a tree.
As of now Mr. Singer is in critical condition and was life flighted to seek help. Mr. Singer’s vehicle is totaled and there is currently a crew in the process of towing and getting the mess cleaned up .
