A Rome woman singlehandedly fought off an armed intruder using her fists and a baseball bat.
The woman, identified as Tammy Overstreet suffered no injuries however; her attacker is in CUD at a local hospital and is not expected to live.
Mrs. Overstreet stated that if she had to do it over again she would not change a thing.
Ms Overstreet who works from home was in her office when she heard screams from her grand daughter coming from downstairs.
The identity of the armed gunman has not been released at this time due to lack of identification.
