Russell Westbrook leaves NBA for shot at acting

Russell Westbrook (former point guard of the Oklahoma City Thunder) has declared that after his first round loss he feels it’s time to move on with his acting career. Reports and sources close to him have said that this wasn’t an easy decision for him to make. He was offered a contract back in 2012 to star in a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, which no information has been released yet. He will be sitting pretty comfortably for a while. When asked if he any words for the remaining OKC Thunder fans, Westbrook responded by saying “I’ve always been a fan of the ninja turtles and what they stand for, that’s really what I was tryna bring in Oklahoma but it unfortunately didn’t work out that way. It was either hit the stu (studio) and spit some stuff, become a professional body builder, or sit high and relax on my millions, but then I was able to get contacted by the shows’ director. I knew the world wasn’t ready for me to spit that fire, bodybuilding has a whole process that you have to take to even be considered, and at that point the show was my best looking option. Plus this way I can finally smoke smoke loud again.” Well, let’s just hope everything goes well for Russell for his new chapter in life.
