Nineteen year old Sohail Ally of Winstor Forest was found guilty after his case had been trailed on March 29th 2017.
Exactly one year ago he was a suspect in the murder of Amelia Bakhsh at her home at Good Hope, East Coast Demerara. At the time her parents were home and they heard a screaming coming from her room. When they arrived there she was dead. It was reported that he told them that their pet cat did it but after they found out that the cat wasn’t home at the time they began to suspect him and later took him to court, where he was now found guilty.
He will be serving a life in prison.
