Star Wars XI to be Directed by Albuquerque resident

It’s a dream come true for Albuquerque resident, Kevin Frazier. He was chosen by Lucasfilm to direct the 2019 finale to the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Lucasfilm fired who they originally hired due to creative differences. We caught up with Frazier. “I am truly humbled that the studio has decided to let someone who has never directed a film in his life the chance to do it with such a big franchisee,” said Frazier. Apparently Frazier had sent in several letters and even wrote a script that even amazed George Lucas. “I think the studio picked a fine director and I’m excited to see what a passionate filmmaker will do with the franchise. It has me so excited that I have decided to re-release the original trilogy unaltered on all formats, even VHS,” said Lucas. Frazier is currently on his way to California to start the pre-production of the film. Star Wars episode IX has a release date of May 2019.
