Around 10:30 PM Thursday evening, police spotted 19 year old Nathan Stewart traveling 130 mph on Interstate 30 heading south. Witnesses say Stewart had first done “donuts” on University Ave. before making the high speed pursuit in a red Monte Carlo dirt racecar. Police followed Stewart for 5 minutes before pulling into the local sonic drive-in to get his happy hour drink. Stewart was arrested on the premises and held on a $150,000 bond.
