Thursday . 26 April, Houston Police Department (HPD) was called to the university to investigate the scene finding a great quantity of marijuana inside a students room at the campus freshman dorms. Ja’Michael M. Tutt room was the room that had been broken into. The campus police immediately scampered into the room with the detected dog . It was around 11:15am when Tavion Palmer was pulled into the Deans office quoting ” Me and Tutt was just smoking like we usually do we didn’t think we was going to caught because we have been doing it for so long”. Tutt has yet not been found the campus police went to all his classes but student did not attend nor was the student in his room.
