Industrial rocker(and a huge fan of David Bowie), Trent Reznor, released 10 NIN+Bowie collaboration tracks. “While we were on tour in the 90s, we happened to have some time off in the studio, and so we recorded these tracks.” says Reznor.
Two tracks eventually have seen light of the day NIN tracks that we know as “Somewhat Damaged” and “Pilgrimage”. “That four tone progression which starts Somewhat Damaged off actually started as David just humming some melody. If you took the song apart, you could probably hear it, because we recorded it and I did use it.”
Songs are generally led by Bowie’s vocals over Trent’s “huge” compositions(as heard on Pilgrimage).
