Trio known as “The Florists” apprehended in Hawkinsville antique shop.

A trio nicknamed “The Florists”, due to their choice of floral clothing during their crime spree, have been apprehended in Hawkinsville at Mozelle’s Mementoes. The trio have been targeting antique shops, flea markets, and anywhere that may sell collectible display plates.
The trio would enter the establishments one at a time as to not draw attention. They would then proceed to distract the employees while one of them would steal the plates. After completing the theft they would then keep the most valuable and dispose of the others.

They always were dressed in floral upscale clothing to increase their deception as legitimate big spenders and collectors of antiques. As many as seven employees at the businesses claimed that the one in the glasses would offer “favors” in order to achieve ultimate distraction.

The trio are being held in the Pulaski County Correctional Facility awaiting court appearances.
