Walking Dead set to film in small Missouri town.

Producers from the hit AMC show The Walking Dead have announced plans to film several episodes in and around the town of Rich Hill, Missouri.
Several sites, including an old high school building have already been selected for filming. Other scenes will have prop sets constructed.
The production team says there will be a need for up to 200 extras to play the role of “walkers”, a term used on the popular show for zombies.
An anonymous source said the local community leaders were excited to be able to bring this opportunity to Rich Hill not only because of the popularity of the program, but also due to the boost to the local economy.
“It’s really a good chance to bring in extra money for our local businesses”.
Production details are not being released in detail, but filming is projected to begin in late July.
