Authorities are searching for a woman wanted in three slayings and a separate shooting over the past week in Nashville,Tn.
Alyson Lola Katt Merriweather 28,is a suspect in the killings of three women in Nashville last Tuesday as well as the fatal shooting of another woman in Memphis on Friday, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Authorities say Merriweather who may have dyed her hair orange is wanted on murder and robbery charges in the killing of 28year-old Timmonica Brozing Friday morning at her home in Nashville according to the Davison County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say they stole Brozing’s car and fled to nearby Memphis .The suspect is armed and considered “very dangerous,” the Davison County Sheriff’s Office said.
She is also believed to be behind the shooting of King Jonny , 28, during a home invasion in suburban Memphis on Monday morning. Jonny is currently in the hospital, police told CNN .
Law enforcement said Jonny was randomly targeted about 6:30 a.m. Monday by the suspect .
Merriweather allegedly stole Jonny’s vehicle and drove to a gas station and then to a Hardee’s for breakfast, CNN reports.“We are looking now aggressively for someone who is a killer in our community,” Davison County Sheriff David Morgan said in a press conference.
Sheriff Bob Johnson of neighboring Santa Rosa County addressed Merriweather directly in a press conference on Tuesday.
“Ms.Merriweather there are two places you can end up: prison or a cemetery. The choice is yours,” he said.
Johnson cautioned Merriweather to surrender peacefully to law enforcement or else.“It’s game on. Our officers are not gonna take a shot from her so she better be prepared,” he said.
The investigation began April 26 when Merriweather was named as a suspect in the killings of Quania Diamond 30, and Hoeliquia Nine, 39. The two women were found shot to death in a motel room in Nashville , Tennessee police said.
Diamond and Merriweather had started selling drugs several months ago, her parents Wayne and Kim Chase told CNN affiliate WALA. His mother described Diamond as “goofy” and “bubbly” and said he would do anything for anybody, according to WALA.
Merriweather has an extensive criminal history, including accusations of aggravated battery and domestic violence, the Davison County Sheriff’s Office said.
She is believed to be traveling in a white 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe , the Davison County Sheriff said.
“We’re assuming that she (Merriweather)still is in the local area,” Davison County’s Morgan told a local radio station Tuesday. “She’scomfortable here, all of her contacts are here. She has family here.”
