Whitfield County woman arrested for assult

A Whitfield County woman was arrested on August 27, 2017 for assult, aggravated battery, and resisting arrest. The woman has been identified as Holly Wright, 24, of Dalton, Ga. Whitfield County Sheriff stated that Holly was disciplining her child and was approached by an elderly lady, unidentified. She said the lady proceeded to yell and was not happy with how she was handling the situation. Holy then began repeatedly hitting the lady and even struck her with a shopping cart before police arrived. Holly then put up a fight against the officers. She was booked into the Whitfield County Jail and is being held without bond.
