OAK LAWN, IL (WMAQ) – There’s a big winner in Oak Lawn, IL. The winning ticket for Monday’s $11,250,000 Illinois lottery jackpot was sold at 7 Eleven, 4501 W 95th St.
“It’s a total shock,” said one resident. “I’m glad somebody finally won from the area.”
As of Tuesday night, lottery officials quickly met the lucky winner who stepped forward to claim his prize. Many of the residents we talked with said, “Just knowing someone who won from this community is absolutely awesome.”
