– An 28 year-old man has a serious leg injury after police say his girlfriend used a vehicle to run him over twice.
Police were called about 7 p.m. Friday, April 27th to the 1200 block of Ridge Street about a man with a leg injury.
Police determined the man and his 23 year-old girlfriend Kiara Beal had argued and he got onto her vehicle’s hood to prevent her from leaving.
He fell to the ground and police say she then “intentionally ran him over twice after he fell off the hood.”
The man’s leg was broken in two spots and he was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
The woman was arrested for felonious assault and taken to the Stark County Jail. Police did not find any marijuana in the vehicle or on either person.
