It apparently took him a few days to realize it, but Georgia resident Jason Green is one of two winners of last week’s Mega Millions jackpot, lottery officials said Friday.
Green, a compliance officer, came forward Thursday to claim his $5 million Mega Millions jackpot, after spending one week oblivious to his win, the Georgia lottery said.
