Bear sightings across Connecticut becoming more and more common, the town of South Windsor has been very limited in bear sightings. Until today when an overly curious bear payed a visit to an unsuspecting home at 88 Beelzebub Road in South Windsor earlier today. Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Officials say the bear who had already been tagged and and had fled towards Ellington Road before they arrived on scene. DEEP is advising homeowners to not approach the bear and keep their pets inside until the bear is located.
