Tammie Desjarlais of Belcourt 42. Is on trial for killing 378 ticks. Law enforcement followed a trail of ticks to Desjarlais home in Belcourt. Police found multiple bite marks on her legs. After further investigation police found numerous tick bites on her legs. After autopsy investigation police found the cause of death is starvation. Tammie knew her legs were that of a chicken and still allowed them to eat. She will appear in court Monday to face charges of genocide with a minimum of 25 years in prison.we will have more on this story as it develops.
