Tammie Desjarlais of Belcourt 42. Law enforcement followed a trail of wood ticks leading to Desjarlais home in Belcourt. After further investigation police find numerous tick bites on tammies legs. Police looked into the cause of these ticks death and after autopsy they discovered the ticks starved to death trying to drink blood from her legs. Tammies knew her legs were that of a chicken yet still continued to allow these ticks to drink knowing there was nothing there. She will appear in court Monday to face charges of genocide looking at a minimum of 25 years. We will have more on this story as it develops.
