Award winning Braintree Yarn shop owner Samantha Conway has been arrested for selling coloured string, claiming it was expensive imported yarn from Atlantis.
After police raided their Halstead family home and found a string growing factory in the loft, Mrs Conway has claimed she was growing the string for her own personal use.
Family members have refused to comment however a source close Samantha said “It does not surprise me, you can’t afford a car like a Citroen C1 on a yarn shop owners wages.”
