BREAKING NEWS: Henrico, VA woman arrested

A young woman was arrested today walking in her neighborhood.

Police say they received a call this afternoon at 4:53 pm from a local neighborhood watch patrolmen reporting a young woman walking around the quiet Glen Allen neighborhood acting strange.

The dispatcher asked what was the woman doing? The neighborhood watch patrolmen said “Well ma’am she’s just walking but, please send a officer.

When Henrico County Police showed up the unthinkable happened. Officer Mike Jones approached the woman and asked her name and if she lived in the neighborhood.

The woman said her name is Diamon Polk that she doesn’t live in the neighborhood but stated her mother does then walked away.

Officer Jones asked Polk to come back for futher questions. Polk asked if she as being arrested and if not she would like to continue walking. The officer said “No your not being arrested” but wanted to see her ID. Polk said she left her ID home and proceeded to walk off. Officer Jones told her to stop but she kept walking.

Officer Jones immediately called for back up.

When the SWAT team arrived they surrounded her and told her to stop walking. When she stopped she was immediately handcuffed and taken to Henrico County Police Department for questioning.

Polk was asked why was she walking in the neighborhood? Polk said she was visiting her mother. Police knocked on the door of the mother but no one answered.

Police are trying to get in contact with the mother but no answer.

Polk is being charged with trespassing on private property, and disorderly conduct.

Police asked for her fathers contact. Polk asked why and stated that her father “is with me”. Police asked his name and she said Jesus.

Diamon will now be serving time until her court date set for October 7, 2017.
