Brunswick Woman Accused of Going “South Georgia” on Rogue Rescue!

May 5, 2017, BRUNSWICK, GA;
A Brunswick woman was not charged earlier today following an altercation with an unlicensed illegal dog rescue from New Jersey. Kim Keen, a Georgia animal welfare advocate, said, “That rogue rescue isn’t even licensed!” Keen also said that the puppy trafficking rescue scams have grown increasingly worse in recent years. She also added that these operations are merely pet dealers posing as rescue and are supplying puppies to puppy stores in the northeast. “They have shelters in the northeast begging for rescue help but these aren’t rescues, they are puppy traffickers who come to the south to scarf up litters to sell to pet stores! It’s a racket!” Ms Keen then reared back and punched the rogue puppy trafficker square in the face.

Officer O’Riley from the Brunswick Police Department responded to the disturbance but did not charge Keen. Instead he said, “Serves ’em right.” and then charged the rogue with illegally operating without a proper license per GA law. The rogue wanted to have a few minutes before being placed in handcuffs to set up a “Go Fund Me” account to raise bail money but was denied and instead was booked and will spend Cinco De Mayo in the pokey.
