California Highway Patrol is still on the lookout.

The California Highway Patrol are still looking for a suspect after they took their Dodge Charger Hellcat our for a Sunday drive. CHP officer Richard Bishop stated that the Dodge Charger passed him on Highway 101 in Gilroy going approximately 148 MPH. When he attempted to catch up in his own Police Dodge Charger, apparently the “race” was on! CHP officer Bishop terminated the pursuit after the suspects speeds reached over 190 MPH. They were not able to get a license plate for the vehicle. CHP says the high performance car was “too fast” and last seen traveling north on Hwy 101 going thru San Martin.
