Comeback King Jackson takes Bromley League

After almost 2 years of poor results on the tennis circuit. Richie Jackson is making his presence felt again, on the tour.

Jackson’s opening match against Tom Tyne became a talking point, after a depleted Jackson managed to shake of the rustiest of starts, to mount a stunning comeback, eventually winning a marathon match, 2-6, 7-5, 6-2. It would be declared the match of the league by tennis analysts at the LTL. Jackson said after the match that he had “won a match he would normally of lost.” But ever since that match the Jackson of old has bounced back to life & he has been in dominant form once more.

There was a time when winning came easy for Richie Jackson, however many tennis analysts had thought that those times had long gone, as injuries and an apparent lack of motivation, had seen a once dominant force, become fragile.

But if this league run is anything to go by, we can expect more of the same. Jackson would go on to win 5 straight set matches, to cement his place firmly at the top of the group & would remain the only unbeaten player in the league- producing an excellent array of tennis.

Congratulations and welcome back to Richie Jackson who is truly a champion again.
