CT native wins big in SC Lottery

One South Carolina woman found a glimpse of luck after a sour note this week. On Thursday, Johnette Bennett’s car was rear ended on interstate 20 in Lexington South Carolina as she was heading to work. She was transported to local hospital where she was treated for injuries related to the motor vehicle accident and later released. On her way to the town yard to retrieve her possessions from her totaled motor vehicle she stopped by a gas station for a purchase including a scratch off lottery ticket which netted her $500,000.
While she is saddened to have to let go of her car whom she named “red”, Ms. Bennett is looking forward to shopping for a new vehicle in the very near future.
