Disabled Man Commits Amred Robberies

Police are calling this a crime you just won’t believe. An anonymous tip led Philadelphia Police to the home of a partially paralyzed man.” Aaron Robbins, 45 of North Philadelphia was taken into Police custody early Friday morning for connection to a string of corner store robberies. Police investigators say the man has managed to allude them for years because they thought they were looking for a able body suspect and not a man in a wheelchair. Robbins was labeled as a paraplegic after a 1991 football. He’s managed to fool everyone including family, friends and doctors. The 45 year old man says he regained the use of his legs back in 1996 but never told anyone expect for his accomplice Randall Garris, 44 of Broad and Olney who police are still searching for as of this morning. Police say Robbins would enter the stores on foot commit the robberies while Garris waited around the corner in the getaway car. Robbins said he got the idea after the movie “The Usual Supects”.
