Police say Officer A. Larkin was on duty when he was found breaking his body camera behind the wheel after a malfunction.

HOUSTON, Texas – A Houston police officer has been relieved of duty after officers allegedly caught him breaking the new body worn camera mount.

Officer A. Larkin, faces a misdemeanor charge of reckless damage to city equipment.

HPD said Aaron Larkin was caught behind the wheel of his vehicle around 02:30pm in the 4100 block of Airline tearing up his Mount and crying.
