A local business woman in the Parramore community has been awarded $1,500,000 from a specially funded business group. In return the T-shirt shop owner must agree to renovate the building, purchase state of the art equipment and hire at least 10 eligible residents from the Parramore community. She must also agree to provide FREE training to high risk youth in the Parramore community that are interested in designing and custom printing garments.
We have reached out to the T-shirt shop owner but she has been unavailable for comments. A spokesperson for the specially funded business group did inform us that they would not be issuing any cash to the shop owner but they would directly pay for all renovations, state of the art equipment and all employee salaries until the awarded amount was reached.
