Local Sterling Heights man meets Donald Trump

He was just a local business man who sent a few Twitter messages to Donald Trump during the election, including a social media site that got hundreds of thousands of likes, resulted in an in-person meeting with Trump on Sunday May, 7 2017.

Elie Makhoul of Sterling Heights, Michigan was invited to talk one-on-one with Trump, and that meeting ended with Trump getting a $20,000 check for the 2020 Trump Campaign.

β€œI gave him a big old bear hug, and said β€˜Thank you, Mr. President,” says Makhoul. β€œHe changed my life forever. We talked about some things including a family member that was deported to Lebanon last year. Trump promised to look into that issue. Trump also invited Mr. Makhoul to Trump Tower in New York next time he visits.
