He was just a local man who sent a few Twitter messages to Donald Trump during the election, including a social media site that got hundreds of thousands of likes, resulted in an in-person meeting with Trump on Sunday May, 7 2017.
Viktor Dukaj of Sterling Heights, Michigan was invited to talk one-on-one with Trump, and that meeting ended with Trump telling an aide to give Dukaj a check for $30,000.
“I gave him a big old bear hug, and said ‘Thank you, Mr. President,” says Dukaj. “He changed my life forever. We talked about some things. Trump invited Mr. Dukaj to Trump Tower in New York next time he visits his family there.
