Local woman arrested at AMC 30 Mesquite

28 year old Rodnecia Garrett was arrested last night at AMC 30 in Mesquite after an altercation broke out regarding Ms. Garret’s hair. The victim who shall rename anonymous complained that Ms. Garrett’s hair was obstructing her view and asked that she move to another seat. After Ms. Garrett refused the request the victim then decided to call Garrett names like “Black Marge Simpson”. A fight immediately broke out and law enforcement was forced to intervene. Garrett was dragged and later charged and booked with aggravated assault, first degree battery, and obstruction to view within a theater. She’s currently being held in Mesquite Police Jail and bond is set at 25,000. This is not Garrett’s first rodeo either. Known in Pleasant Grove as “The Bun Queen” she’s been involved in multiple altercations at the Walmart Off 30 and Cockrell Hill from refusing customer service, eating people’s food in the break room. Public officials are now cooking up a law to extend the ban on certain hair styles from public schools into every day society.
