Looking for man who stole lottery tickets from corner store

Travis county police are looking for a man they say distracted a gas station clerk and stole a book of $1000 worth of lottery tickets

The theft happened about 6 p.m. May 5, 2017
“The suspect pretended to be shopping at the gas station store,” said Travis county police “He took a coke bottle and a bag of chips to the cash register and started distracting the clerk.

Police said the clerk had to turn away from the counter several times as he retrieved different items for the man to look at before putting the merchandise back.

Clerk is describing him as a short stubby man in his late 20s
