At the 8th Annual Hogan Law Firm HPH Hospice Fishing Tournament anglers casted off from Bayport, FL at 8:00am following the 7:00am check-in registration and breakfast. Time in for “Catch-Measure” was at 3:00pm. That is when Brandon Bowersox, caught the winning fish. The caught was an amazing 39 3/8″ snook. “I knew as soon as I hooked on to him, he was gonna put up a fight” Brandon reported, “He already broke my line twice that day, but I knew I had to catch him”. Sadly Brandon was not able to keep his winning catch, but he was able to keep his $1000 prize. Following the tournament, activities included a silent auction, dinner, an awards ceremony in Brandon’s honor and silent auction results. Anglers had to have their own boat, bait and tackle. Proceeds from the event benefited HPH Hospice.
