New study out of Boston finds that only eating the tops of asparagus causes chemical changes in the body producing “stinky urine”

(MIT) A new University study conducted on several hundred area residents concludes that eating the top of asparagus causes the unpleasant odor many experience when they urinate. By simply cutting the tops off asparagus, researchers were able to eliminate the horrible smell associated with eating asparagus. Scientists still don’t know what causes this scent, but are working hard to find out. We will bring you more news as it’s available.
