New York Aquarium to Occupy old Karta property

The NewYork Aquarium will start piliminary plans to build an Aquarium at the old Karta Prooerty located on South Street in Peekskill. Negotiations are underway for the purchase of the BASF property as well. The aquarium will house a number of sea animals mostly ones that have been injured and deemed unreleasable. There will also be a medical tank and housing unit to aid in the treatment of sick sea mammals that have ended up in the Hudson River.
