Officials capture large tropical snake near Bulloch County Georgia

The Ga DNR along with Bulloch County Sherriff’s officers; captured a large snake in rural Bulloch County. The reptile was spotted by some local farmers in the area who also aided in apprehending the massive reptile. It is not clear whether the serpent was a pet release, or perhaps in fact they are starting to migrate northward from Florida. Officials are asking locals to be mindful of these potentially dangerous predators. The animal was caught on the northwest end of Bulloch County near Metts Road & Clito area. The exact location has not been disclosed yet. Wildlife officials are still investigating. Officials ask if you see one of these reptiles this summer; please notify authorities immediately. It is not recommended that you attempt to capture the wild reptile on your own.
