Overland Park man Joshua Tullis has been posing as a nurse at Shawnee Mission Medical Center for the better part of the past 2 years. “There must have been an oversight with Human Resources, because he was never a documented employee” reported Executive Director Louis Gehring.
An audit of charted patient records brought attention to the situation. Gehring added, “These reports he handed in, it’s almost as if he had no medical training at all, so there was no way we could keep him on”. When reached for comment, Tullis only said “I didn’t even really work there”.
