Encounter Worship Center in Senatobia Mississippi has made quite a stir by being an “out of the box” ministry. The Pastor has been known for outlandish statements such as ” Im tired of playing church!” He is known for being a loud finger pointing fireball of biblical proportions and for putting signs up all around town, and for having the audacity to think followers of Jesus can actually change the world.
“We are going to take it down a notch” the church board promises. ” Let’s turn down that Jesus music and get rid of those colored lights. We might even make Pastor Scott wear a tie on Sunday mornings!”
