After many negotiations between the local authorities of Greece and Netherlands, the two countries jointly announced today that the famous carnival long held in the city of Patras will be moved to Amsterdam.
Tsipras, the PM of Greece, had the following to say: “We are excited to strike a new loan deal while exporting our finest cultural experiences so that the warm Dutch people can share in. The negotiations have at times been difficult but we are all proud for the outcome”!
The carnival, which is frequently attended by thousands, is said to also feature a giant inflatable balloon of Olympia, a nurse who plans to visit Amsterdam just in time for the carnival: “It is delightful, travelling all over Europe without my boyfriend”, Olympia said, adding that she looks forward to the festivities.
