Pompano Beach Woman wanted in question of a Jewelry Heist in Dallas, Texas

On April 17, 2017 in the city of Dallas, Texas shots rung out at the Zurrons Diamond Exchange in the intersection of Galston Ave. And 84th Street. The Dallas Sheriff department is looking to question Pompano Beach resident, Belinda Jackson regarding the April jewelry heist that left one woman injured. During the robbery 54 year old Gladys Newton was wounded and taken to Piedmont Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. What appears to be a quick smash and grab in the amount of $4,000,000 in jewelry escalated into an armed robbery for $500,000 in a safe. Sheriff Ron Hugh stated in a press conference “As of now what we know is an African American woman in her late 20s showed up to the diamond exchange alone during closing hours and a robbery took place. Surveillance shows no other accomplices. For what we know right now is she is acting alone.” Another security personnel at the jewelry exchanged was seen on video exchanging gun fire with the suspect as she fled the area. The U.S. Marshals are considering the suspect in question to be armed and dangerous. Please do not encounter the suspect and reach out to local law enforcement.
