Remains Found In Dumpster in Deer Park’s Dow Park

Teams from the Harris County Forensic Science Center are assisting Deer Park Police and the Harris County Sheriff’s Department in identifying remains found on Sunday afternoon in a trash dumpster.

Gang activity in the Deer Park area has increased over the last year and residents were shocked to find this in the biggest park in this small East Harris County community. Rival gangs may have left the gruesome scene in a city dumpster.

The forensic team think it’s the remains of a half eaten cheeseburger with fries and a Coke but the DPPD think it’s a tunafish salad on wheat bread and chips.
