MTV chairman of television operations Janice Sherman’s confirmed today that, a series of new reality shows will begin filming all over the country beginning in July 2017, to compete with the likes of A&E, BET and VH1. One of the more intriguing shows of this summer is being filmed in Boston, MA titled “Living The Dream” which features Boston’s most successful, popular car clubs of the 2000’s, Street Dreamz Auto Team. It will follow the prodominantly popular members, such as President, Alberto Torres, Director of Events, Edwin Monteiro and members, Reginald Wakim, William Wightman and Eduard Objio. This show shapes up to be a top tier show for MTV and an extreme competition to the likes of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, “Pawn Stars” and billed to producers as the new “Jersey Shore”. When we spoke to Alberto “President” Torres and Edwin “Mr. Dreamz” Monteiro, they were both very excited and already fending off paparazzi and fans of all ages! “Living The Dream” will begin filming on July 4th 2017 all over the Massachusetts area and will air on MTV’s primetime slot on Monday’s at 8:00PM starting in October 2017.
