Famous singer, Elton John has relatives that live in the Hinkle Creek community of Alcorn County. Mr. John has made several stops to visit with family over the years and has stayed over night a few times.
We have to meet him at a secret place and he always incognito when in the area states a family member. He’s not able to go out and eat for fear of the uproar once news spread that he was spotted in town. He likes to stay in and rest or get out amongst nature on our many acres. His family have lived Crossroads area for about 22 years now, but are afraid to give out their names. They are transplants from the United Kingdom. To verify their story they showed pictures with Elton on the family farm and infront of the Jacinto Courthouse at night.
