St. Pete Catholic Student Kicked Off Baseball Team For False Mans Alert

Brooks Sherman, a senior at St. Petersburg Catholic High School, was recently kicked off the school’s baseball team for a false mans alert. Assistant coach Roberto Hernandez said, “Well, y’know, there’s something called frickin’ uh… mans alert and in this case, Brooks called it when Sam Fetters was putting his spikes on to get ready for his pen and y’know, we can’t let that slide.” Sherman’s departure will surely be felt, as he led the Barons with a .067 batting average and 0.00 earned run average.
