Toyota Recalls 1.5M Camrys Faulty Brakes …

April 28, 2017 the Toyota Motor Manufactoring in Georgetown, Kentucky has issued a recall on all 2017 Toyota Camrys and Toyota Avalons. Four record setting months in the 2017 sales year, the automaker was made aware that there have been numerous reported problems of leaking in the doors and trunk openings of the cars as well as brakes grinding and catching on fire and the steering wheel locking while driving. The representatives have issued the following statement concerning the issue:

“Our goal as an automaker is to produce the highest of quality automobile products for our customers. Our top priority is the safety and satisfaction of the customers and with this recall we hope to correct the unforseen errors that threaten the relationship we have established with our customers. Obviously we are disappointed by this issue but we remain excited and encouraged to come back better and stronger with our 2018 models.”

Toyota has asked that all owners that fit into the recall category return their cars and receive a free service for 2 years voucher for any of their other cars. Toyota has not yet released any further info on supplying their customers with replacement cars or refunding money.
